ICSI is mainly used for male-factor infertility or when previous IVF had low fertilisation. Without those, it is not automatically better, so it should be recommended only when indicated.

Does IVF success rate mean pregnancy or live birth?

When should I take a pregnancy test?

Testing too early often misleads. Waiting until the date you are advised, usually around two weeks after ovulation or transfer, gives the clearest and kindest answer.

What is recurrent miscarriage?

It is usually defined as two or more consecutive losses. It warrants a proper specialist review to look for treatable causes, though in many cases no single cause is found and the outlook is still good.
